Mir Sayyed Ali Hamdani, a Sufi mystic, came to Kashmir from Persia during the late 14th century and his accompanying followers introduced the beautiful skill of crafting hand-painted papier-mâché artifacts to their new home.
We are offering our collectible boxes to preserve a waning art form and to enrich the lives of the amazing disabled artists that painstakingly put their heart and soul into this heritage product that will give you joy every time you look at it.
