Mortar & Pestle Set

A mortar and pestle is designed to help you release and intensify the natural flavors and aromas from herbs and spices. Our version of this ancient tool is handcrafted using naturally seasoned and sustainable woods; the mortar from mango wood, and the pestle from Indian rosewood.  We think the organic shape and natural wood finish make it look like a ‘work of art’. The shape and size are designed to let you pound enough spices without them jumping all over the place and we only use pure beeswax to polish the surface to maintain its purity.

This set is lovingly crafted by artisans with disabilities in India who put their heart and soul into making this one-of-a kind set. You will feel that love in your cooking.
