Our organic Himalayan Black Peppercorns - the "king of spices" - is sustainably cultivated in the state of Manipur, a tribal border state in the Himalayas of India. Although, black pepper from South India has been famous for centuries, the reality of climate change has made this valuable spice more conducive to growing in the lush unspoiled habitat of the mountainous states of Northeastern India. Manipur’s black pepper experiment started with backyard trees and proved that this important spice can be grown at 1500 meters above sea level.
