Fenugreek Seeds

Our fenugreek seeds - a.k.a. Methre - are grown at a small organic family farm in Rajasthan, India.

Fenugreek in leaf or seed form is a favorite spice in South Asia, where it is used in curries, chutneys, lentil dishes, pickles, and vegetables. The aroma of Fenugreek seeds is similar to that of celery, although North Americans will recognize the scent as similar to that of a high-grade maple syrup.

Fenugreek seeds are thought to enhance lung function, reduce blood sugar & cholesterol, and ease menstrual cramps. We love it with our roasted potatoes or simply as a tea.
