Our jasmine-scented Oolong tea is grown by a fourth-generation family-owned and operated farm in rural Taiwan. This tea is organically grown using traditional and sustainable farming practices, processed in charcoal fired pits, then scented and aged with only the most fragrant jasmine flowers.
Each tea leaf is rolled and laid in beds with hand-picked organic jasmine flowers for many hours and removed at precisely the right time to produce a beautifully scented yet sweet tea. Natural flower scenting is a traditional process that is disappearing as it is resource-intensive and relies on a timely supply of natural flowers. Our farm performs this process only twice a year, only when the best and most fragrant flowers bloom. The reward is a tea where the headier floral notes emerge in the first infusion and the tea's natural scent supports later infusions.
